Albert The Great, also known as St. Albertus Magnus and Albert of Cologne was a Catholic bishop and German Dominican friar. Scholars have referred to him as the greatest German philosopher and theologian of the Middle Ages and the Catholic Church honours him as one of only 36 Doctors of the Church.
